Junior Administrative Assistant – Accounting & Back Office

The role:

You will join Aqrate Srl to support administrative and back-office activities, ensuring order, punctuality, and accuracy in day-to-day operations. You will work closely with management and our accountant, becoming a key operational point of reference for the company’s internal organization.

What you will do

  • Manage simplified bookkeeping entries (matching budget items to incoming/outgoing invoices already recorded by the accountant, managing payments/receipts, etc.)
  • Invoicing and document checks
  • Manage deadlines (supplier payments, reminders/follow-ups, filing/archiving)
  • Back office: operational support for the team (bookings, office supplies, small administrative/secretarial tasks)
  • Liaise with the accountant and external consultants to collect documents and information

Technical requirements

Required:
  • Diploma in Accounting / Administration, Finance & Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets (filters, tables, simple formulas) and Office tools in general
  • Accuracy in handling documents and numbers
  • Good English skills (for occasional contact with international clients)
Nice to have (not required):
  • Experience with accounting/administration software (e.g., Fatture in Cloud, Teamsystem, Zucchetti, or similar)
  • Even short experience in offices or accounting firms (internship/apprenticeship)

Experience required

Junior profile (max 2–3 years of experience). Internships or apprenticeships are also welcome, provided you have strong motivation and accuracy.

Workplace

The position is based at our operational offices in Bologna (Viale Giuseppe Fanin 48). Depending on agreements defined from time to time with your managers, it will be possible to work remotely a few days per week.
